Russia struck three power plants that supply Kyiv overnight, as faster jet-powered drones kept breaking through the city’s stretched air defences. The attacks were aimed at cutting heating and electricity in the Ukrainian capital, where civilian casualties were already rising and winter weather was turning colder.
